Above: Apparently I can do better. Here is a CD case with a hole burnt through with the 100 W LED.
Above: The setup. I have a styrofoam surround to prevent the cooling fan from cooling the target.
Above: It took 1:45 mins to make a hole, but my heatsink fan was also cooling the target a bit. I augment my batteries with a power supply to keep up near rated power.
