Musical style.

Tesla coils are noisy raspy sounding things that are non linear and severely distorted.

The Tesla coil can be played as the sole instrument but most use it like a separate instrument playing a simple 2-4 channel polyphonic instrument.

The schematic shows the fibreoptic (non-conductive) audio paths to the performer and out to a controller/mixer. The outputs then go to PA speakers, subwoofer or house PA.
Power from standard mains goes to a line filter and switch unit then to two individual isolator transformers to drop to 110V then inside the cage to the Tesla coils.
