This is a 3 axis magnetic field app to read the Earth’s magnetic field on my phone.

I think the average field is the sum of the square roots of the different axes. ie
Root (3 ^2 + 17^2 + 56^2) = 58.6
I was hoping to build one myself. The sensors are more complicated than simple Hall devices though.
I had hoped to do some timelapse mapping but providing a nice map will require a lot of readings. The advantage of 3 axis readings is that it reads the maximum field regardless of direction.
