Singing magnets are magnets that make a peculiar sound when they crash together under magnetic attraction. They are ovoid magnets can be bought in novelty stores and eBay for less than $10. The noise is generated by the energy of the collision crashing together with magnetic attraction and the hard haematite. Think of the noise two coins make when they are flipped in the air – try it. By the way, make sure there is a soft surface for them to fall on if you miss the catch. Like carpet or grass.
Another tip is that they must not have any dirt or magnetic dust like metal particles on them. If so, use some sticky tape to remove it. You won’t be able to wipe it off.
