South Western Times 2010
The South Western Times did a page 3 article on 30th December 2010 for the World’s Brightest Bike Light.
This is one of the only photo shopped images on my site (done by the paper not me). To remove the lens flare over my trouser area and to tighten the beam. I use it as an example as it is clearly apparent even on a photo of the print article. Did I tell you I don’t like photoshop?
The Electrickery article (Dec 2008) written by Asher Moses went on to stimulate many other online, print and TV news clips.

Muzika Teslinog kalema
Doktor Petar Teren je studirao medicinu u raznim oblastima – kardiologija, neurologija, hematologija, gerijatrija. Pored toga studirao je i fiziku. Preko dana leči pacijente, a kad sunce zađe i tokom vikenda uživa u svom hobiju, inspirisanom – Nikolom Teslom.
Dok mnogi provode vikend sa porodicom, Petar Teren uživa eksperimentišući sa poznatim Teslim kalemom, koji proizvodi visoku voltažu.
“Oko Sauronovo”
Kada smo dr Terena upitali koji mu je najdraži ekperiment odgovorio je: “Oko Sauronovo”. Fasciniran je bio zlobnim čarobnjakom, koji se pojavljuje u trilogiji “Gospodari prstenova”. Došao je na ideju da pored velike snage Teslinog kalema još snage doda kružnoj moći prstena. Kaže da ovakav izum može pomoći u sprečavanju krađe automobila.
Prošle godine je kreirao i “Modernog Mislioca”, gde oko 200,000 volti električne energije prolazilo kroz njegovo telo.
Njegovo prvo interesovanje za kalemom počelo je još u srednjoj školi. Tada je radeći na projektu napravio svoj radio. Sebe naziva “Doktor Elektrik”, a poznat je i kao “Doktor Šok”.

Sunday Times 2005
Photo Competition, above (Aug 2005 Sunday Times circ. 365,000). I won a AUD$2000 Nikon D70s digital camera. There were 5000 entries in 2 categories with 40 photos published in each. I later took about 15,000 photos with this camera until 2008 with many of the most impressive pictures coming from it.
Bunbury Mail 2007
My Comet McNaught photo also made it to the International Comet Quarterly and to page 3 of our local paper. As someone said: “WOW – 50% off sale”
Some that didn’t make it include Shanghai morning post, the Sun, Trader monthly (went broke).
