Laser fluorescence

A Blu-Ray violet laser causes laser fluorescence in various fluids.

Blu-ray laser fluorescence in 3 different fluids showing different colours. What are they?

Green is fluorescein from eye drop minims. It is used for staining live tissue for corneal damage. So non toxic. Similar dyes are used in antifreeze. I could have used a fluorescent yellow highlighter pen or the high intensity fluorescein powder.

The blue is tonic water. Fluoresces blue from the quinine. Gin and tonic, anyone?

The right glass glowing orange is fluorescing. It contains Rhodamine, a dye used in lasers and is toxic.

The 4th colour is of course where the beam hits the white paper and is a bright violet/blue white due to the bleaches and fluorescent whiteners.

Lots of other things that can demonstrate laser fluorescence.
