A group of 9 prisms allows a circular light path and gives multiple internal reflections.

A diffused green laser shows the multiple reflections.
The course of the brightest segments of the red laser beam through each prism can be seen with the aid of some fog. These continue around in a circle (just).
A Blu-ray violet laser fluoresces when it passes through glass and becomes visible as violet as it exits. The Blu-ray near UV laser enters the 7 o’clock prism heading clockwise right on the edge which is needed to make it all the way around. The purple spot is the laser colour as it enters/exits each prism. Interestingly there was glass fluorescence to give the green glow of the beam.
There is only a single beam all the way around to the 6 o’clock prism where it breaks out of the prism in a jumble of reflections. All double beam appearances for the other prisms are internal reflections.
And the thing in the middle?. Just a bit of fluorescent acrylic off-cut I threw in the middle which lights up with stray UV.
The setup with a 10 mW Helium Neon laser refracted into a complete circle. Smoke generator is the blue thing to the left.
