Fluorescein Display II
Now this is trippy. I knocked this up for my 2014 Open Day. Fluorescein powder dropped on a 3 foot column of water and lit by a 3 W UV light. In slow motion, the green fluorescent liquid forms inverted mushrooms, swirls, sheets and eddies which are constantly moving.

This is one drop of 40% concentrated Fluorescein dye dropped into water with some bleach alkalinisation which enhances the fluorescence under long wave UV light.

Argon Laser 40 mW Blue
Argon Laser 40 mW Blue Laser, multi-line. Unusual in that it has multiple spectral lines. Of course these days, simple handheld diode lasers can be much brighter than this. The power supply and control unit are on the left and the head unit with fan on top. The beam is highlighted by a water spray. I love electronics with a key start.
